Middus Innernet 1p – Solid

Windproof, Breathable Fabric – The lower two-thirds of the innernet are made from windproof yet breathable ripstop nylon with DWR treatment. This fabric blocks drafts, enhances comfort in cooler conditions, and increases protection against condensation while allowing excess moisture to wick out.

Optimized Ventilation – The ultralight mosquito mesh at the upper third improves airflow toward the tent’s vent, reducing moisture build-up and maintaining a comfortable interior climate.

Ultralight, Durable Floor – Constructed from  0.96 Dyneema® Composite Fabric fabric with taped seams, the floor is both exceptionally light and highly durable, offering reliable protection without unnecessary weight.

Secure, Sag-Free Setup – With 15 attachment points, the Middus 1P Innernet Solid firmly connects to the Middus 1P or Middus 2p tents, minimizing fabric sagging and maximizing interior space and usability. These include:
– Two attachment points at each corner of the bathtub floor
– One at each ridgeline
– One on each long side (at the seam between the floor and solid fabric)
– One at the peak

The Inner 1p Solid comes pre-mounted with connection systems at each corner, and at the peak. An additional set of 6 elastic shock cords, cord locks and mitten hooks are included for further attaching and adjusting the inner net to the Middus with the other connection points available (4 at ridgelines, 2 at the middle of long floor sides), or for repair/replacement.

• 15D Mosquito mesh (23gsm) – This super fine and lightweight bug netting is used in our tents and is composed of super-small holes that block even the smallest bugs.

• 10D Ripstop Nylon (23sm) – Ultralight, durable, windproof and breathable, improves draft resistance for cooler weather. PFC-free DWR finish. The ripstop helps to better resist against abrasion and tears.

•  0.96 Dyneema® Composite Fabric (33gsm) – This fabric is used as floor material for our ultralight innernets and our more abrasion resistant stuff sacks and drybags, ditty bags etc. It is very tough for its weight thanks to a higher amount of Dyneema fibers and Mylar layers twice as thick compared to 0.55 Dyneema® Composite Fabric – Spruce Green. Very high waterproof rating of 20 000mm, and easy to repair in the field.

1. Connect the Peak
• Locate the elastic cord pre-attached to the Innernet. Thread one end out of the elastic cord through the grosgrain loop inside the peak of the Middus tent. Then, reconnect it to the cord lock.
• Adjust the height of the Innernet by increasing or decreasing the tension of the shock cord using the cord lock.
• This step is easiest to perform before pitching the Middus tent.

2. Connect the Ridgelines
• Install four elastic mitten-hooks (included in the Inner kit), to the ridgelines loops of the Innernet.
• Connect them to the corresponding elastic loops inside the Middus 1p.
• When using the Inner 1p Solid with larger tents (Middus 2p or other similarly shaped shelters), the elastic cords + mitten hook provided in the kit can be used, instead of the mitten hooks only.

3. Connect the Floor Corners

For a detachable connection:
• Each bathtub floor corner of the Innernet has a pre-attached shock cord with a cord lock and mitten hook.
• Attach each mitten hook to the grosgrain loops at the corners of the Middus, where the guyline tensioners are installed.
• Use the cord locks to adjust the tension and eliminate sag.
• This method allows for quick detachment of the Innernet from the Middus.

For a permanent connection:
• Remove the mitten hooks, leaving only the loop at the end of the shock cord.
• Thread the loop, from below, through the gap in the line tensioner of the Middus.
• Secure it with a girth hitch around the line lock.
• Use the cord locks to adjust the tension and eliminate sag.

4. Optional Mid-Floor Tensioners
• There are two additional connection points at the midpoints of the Innernet floor, where the floor meets the solid nylon fabric.
•  Use the provided kit, which includes shock cords, cord locks, and mitten hooks.
•  Attach these mid-floor loops to the back side of the Middus 1P and the door line tensioner (or to both door line tensioners for the Middus 2p), following the same method as the four corner attachments.
